The SLIMS software platform is an all-in-one solution that allows customers to trace their samples and integrate their instruments, including data lifecycle management. Our solution is currently used worldwide in labs ranging from small research facilities to big government institutions handling millions of samples and results. SLIMS is a web application written in Java.

We are looking for a Java Software Developer Intern (f/m/x) in Lausanne who will be working with the R&D team to help design new features and who seeks to gain work experience in a multifaceted and creative development team at Agilent.

Qualifications

• Fast learner with good interpersonal skills who is highly motivated to solve technical problems, in a creative and dynamic environment
• Student of computer science or a comparable course of study
• First hands-on experience in Java development
• Be equally comfortable working as part of a team and independently.
• Approaches problem solving systematically and in a goal-oriented manner.
• Have excellent communication skills, strong work ethics and commitment to producing high quality work.
