We are looking for a new Project Engineer to join our team to work on projects for some of the biggest electricity and utility providers. You will get to be a part of a growing global company in a stable industry with a front row seat into the development of energy industry IT solutions. You’ll be joining a team of experts with decades of experience to help you get up to speed. This new position can be in Espoo, or remote.
Key Responsibilities
As a successful Project Engineer, you will be expected to competently:
- Investigate all kinds of issues with environments, databases, tools, installations, test cases or functionalities developed by our own team.
- Create and maintain test automation ensuring the quality of the product.
- Implement, investigate, and maintain business process logic using inhouse development language.
- Produce understandable and well-investigated documentation and issues to developers and testers.
- Study implemented features and solve small issues in functionalities.
Key skills and experience
- Experience with various IT environments and tools
- Experience with servers and databases
- Energy market knowledge seen as an advantage
- Experience in small-scale development or testing
- Good communication skills, as the role communicates with the team and customers.
- Fluency in English, Finnish knowledge seen as an advantage.
