Restaurant Supervisor [United Kingdom]


 

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our dedicated and professional team as a Restaurant Supervisor. As a 2 AA Rosette restaurant and 5 Star boutique hotel, this is a great opportunity to further your career within the hospitality industry, giving you the chance to learn more about fine dining and 5 star service. The successful applicant must have a minimum of 2 years Front of House experience.

Department: Front of House

Responsible To: General Manager

Hours of Work: As per rota (40 hours per week, usually over 5 days), working various shifts – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (no split shifts). Must be able to work weekends and do one stayover per week. We pride ourselves on a good work/life balance here at The Timble Inn.

Restaurant Supervisor role:

  • Responsible for taking orders and having the confidence and knowledge to make recommendations to our guests
  • Being able to deal with any guest issues/complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Serving excellent quality food and a fantastic range of drinks
  • Taking pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Work with the rest of the team to create a friendly and professional atmosphere our guests will love
  • Operating the EPOS and online booking systems efficiently and correctly
  • Leading service when the General Manager or Assistant Manager are not on duty
  • Assisting in the training of new team members, organising shifts and rotas as required, referring to the General Manager for guidance when required
  • Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Must be able to drive and have own private transport as there is NO public transport nearby

Progression within the business is possible if the correct attitude and high levels of attainment are shown.

Salary: £24,500.00 p/a + TIPS (ca. £2-3k p/a)
