You will play a pivotal role within the IoT sales team, building IoT practices and sales pipeline through various routes-to-market for our innovative IoT portfolio (Industrial Networking, Security and Cloud). This is a Partner-focused role that involves setting executive preference for Cisco’s IoT portfolio, building and scaling practices aligned to partners’ unique business models, building holistic go-to-market strategies for accelerating sales pipeline and driving incremental revenue through partner-led sales. Cisco’s Partner ecosystem is the envy of the industry, you will play a critical role in crafting the future of our partners and clients.
Who You'll Work With
You will own the sales motion by working collaboratively with partner organizations within your region, Cisco’s end-customer account teams and partner marketing to grow IoT sales revenue. You will also work with Cisco’s product management, industry solutions teams and others to drive strategy and deliver results.

Required Skills:
- A strong background running large, complex, technology sales and/or involved in building and growing partner practices, requiring C-level executive support.
- Carried a quota and consistently met / exceeded your forecast.
- Comfortable speaking in front of large audiences (100+) which will include a mix of technologists, leaders with vision, and industry professionals.
- Experience in selling networking, wireless, cloud, analytics, and security.
- Experience working in an overlay sales role or are open to it.
- Experience selling through channel partners.
- Cross industry experience - in particular in some of the following: Public Sector, Education, Utilities, Transportation, Manufacturing, Energy/ Oil & Gas, Smart Cities, and/ or Healthcare expertise.
- Efficient selling remotely or in-person and traveling up to 50% of the time.
Desired Skills:
- Sales Specialist (preferably IoT) who has worked for 5+ years selling complex solutions (hardware or platforms).
- Strong working knowledge of the industrial networking and cyber security.
- You have worked at both start-ups and large organizations.
- You like to challenge your Partner to think differently about their customers’ “jobs to get done” and set clear objectives of how to deliver value propositions to meet customer’s business needs.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. hiring location. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
