We are looking for a supply chain administrator, to join our team, the ideal candidate will have experience working within a purchasing/ supply chain role preferably within the last two years, they will be calm under pressure, highly organised, have great attention to detail, dedicated, able to multitask and they will have have excellent knowledge of computer packages such as Excel and Outlook.
This role will work alongside the customer services admin both under the administration manager, as a team you will be responsible for ensuring that the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse are completed accurately and within a timely manner.
This role also has the potential to expand into a planning role so a keen interest in progression is desirable.
Job Duties Include:
· Placing orders with suppliers based in both the UK and overseas.
· Raising purchase orders in sage x3
· Liaising with suppliers regarding and booking deliveries inbound.
· Develop effective stock forecasting processes
· Source competitive pricing in line with specifications, quality standards and
approved budgets.
· Receipt all supplier deliveries into our system and accordingly.
· Providing administrative cover for the customer service admin
· Take ownership of health & safety for yourself and others at work.
· Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and encourage safe working practices, at all times.
· Use Excel/email to manage the day-to-day system transactions and queries
· Answer the telephone enquiries line, take messages / calls when appropriate to do so.
· Carry out Physical stock checks on products/Packaging and Finished Goods stored within the warehouses.
· Support daily stock management processes to include stock status reports.
