Origin8 Cafes & Catering are looking for experienced weekend staff cafe assistant for our Cafes in Peterborough. The Cafe Assitant will assist with the preparation and serving of cold food in a busy and lively cafe setting, as well as maintaining a clean, sanitary work enviroment. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient and has experience dealing with a wide range of customers.
Responsibilites:
- Receive and serve cafe customers, take orders, and give out food and drinks.
- Preparation of cold food.
- Operating coffee machines and other equipment.
- Clearing plates and cutlery from tables to prepare for incoming customers.
- Follow standard operating procedures regarding cafe safety.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Have good social skills with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
This role is working 5 days, over the 7 day week (including some weekends).
