Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Whatu Ora has a rare and exciting opportunity for an Information Analyst to join the ICT Services Information Analytics team in Taranaki on a Fixed Term, 12 month contract. This role will cover one of our team who is going on parental leave. The primary function of the Information Analyst is to turn Human Resource/Workforce data into knowledge to support decision making that will improve health outcomes of our population.

Moū - About you
Do you want to work in a friendly environment collaboratively providing value added reporting and analytic solutions to stakeholders? The ideal candidate will be someone that is driven to provide timely and accurate data analysis and insights to the organisation using agile and innovative techniques.
If you tick the following then we'd like to hear from you:
- 2+ years in relevant Information or Data Analyst roles is required.
- Previous experience in Human Resources and/or Payroll environments preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate these into fit for purpose solutions.
- Experience with Business Intelligence Tools, preferably MS-Power BI and SSRS.
- Experience with SQL to extract, query data.
- Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
- We are looking for a team player and someone who is keen to learn and to share their knowledge with others.
