Java Fullstack Engineer
We are looking for Java Fullstack Engineers (preferably with knowledge of Angular). We have a range of prestigious clients from different industries, such as finance, insurance and software consulting. Most positions offer the option of hybrid remote work, but residency in Switzerland is a must. Clients are based in Zurich, Bern, or other Swiss cities.
Your Role:
- You will design and develop software components and document, implement and test them. You are responsible for the client- and server-side frameworks as well as the creation and administration of databases. You might be in touch with clients and start taking on significant positions such as software architect or lead developer. Exact role description differs from client to client. We will present you with as many options as possible.
Your Profile:
- You have a university degree or comparable education and training with a couple of years (4+) experience in software development with Java.
- You possess outstanding communication and analytical skills, which also allow you to act as a coach for other developers. You act proactively and have the stamina to implement software form the idea to the finished product, while ensuring optimal service.
- You have extensive knowledge of Java SE, Spring, JUnit, Hibernate and modern web technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, ReactJS or HTML5.
- You have gathered some experience with Microservice Architecture.
- Your skillset is completed with knowledge of database environment SQL as well as experience with testing, versioning (GIT, SVN), build tools (Maven, Gradle) and web services. Knowledge of Azure and AWS is a welcome addition.
- You are familiar with agile development (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Knowledge of container platforms (e.g., Docker) are an advantage.
- You are proficient in English. Fluency in German is advantageous (min. B2).

Salary: CHF115,000.00 - CHF150,000.00 per year
