As a Security Officer for G4S, variety is guaranteed. You’ll be the first port-of-call in ensuring the safety of our customers and clients based within an aviation manufacturing plant in Prestwick. As a security officer, you will join our team on a 40 hpw contract working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working both days and nights.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Due to the high profile nature of this site, previous security experience is a must so if you're already working in the industry, or have before, we welcome you to join our team. We know you'll get off to a flying start!
A typical week will have you ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other elements of the role will include:
- Building relationships with employers and community organisations
- Greeting visitors and customers to site
- Scheduled patrols of customer premises
- Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms
You'll be responsible for a wide variety of duties including the management of visitor passes, liaising with customers, gatehouse duties, checking in contractors, reception duties, alarm calls and issuing passes, visitor vehicle checks.
