Automotive Service Manager
Our client is looking for their next Service Manager to run the service department in this busy workshop.

Managerial experience is preferred, but if you are a Senior Technician / Foreman / Workshop Manager who is looking for autonomy within a highly regarded automotive franchise, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for growing the team alongside the brands.
You will be expected to attend distributor meetings and training sessions as well as be responsible for the entire department.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a thorough understanding of after-sales and workshop operations.
You will be responsible for customers, technicians, workload, productivity, and efficiency, as well as working alongside parts and warranty.
The Role
- Be responsible for the service department and team environment
- Maximise workshop productivity and efficiency
- Help staff with processing of warranty claims
- Work closely with the parts department
- Ensure technicians training is up to date
- Adhere to Health and Safety requirements
- Set and monitor KPI's
- Surpass expectations and budgets
- Help train and recruit technicians and apprentices
- Deal with all customers in a professional, prompt, and courteous manner
About you
- Technical experience and/or qualification
- Previous managerial skill
- WOF Certification- preferred but not essential
- The ability to monitor and maintain workload
- The passion and drive to maintain and grow a workshop
- The mental fortitude to juggle technicians, workload and a service desk
- A proactive yet practical approach
- Good software skills
- The ability to lead by example
