The Fraunhofer Institute for High-Speed Dynamics, Ernst-Mach-Institut, EMI has a vacancy in Efringen-Kirchen for a student assistant position (m/f/d) for Graphical User Interface (GUI) development in the department of Measurement and Sensor Technology.
What you will do
An ongoing project requires the development of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) suited for untrained users i.e. the GUI requires an easy to use, intuitive and ergonomic solution. Therefore, the project team applies touchscreen as well as classic keyboard control concepts.
Your tasks:
Develop an easy to use GUI with a control concept matching the project’s framework.
What you bring to the table
- Degree in computer science, physics, mathematics or other engineering sciences or related STEM disciplines
- Ideally experience with creating Android apps
- Independent work, initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to work in a team
- German or English language skills (German language skills are not mandatory)
