Our Sydney office currently has an exciting opportunity for a Publicity & Promotions Coordinator to join them on a 12 month contract basis.
This role will report to our Head of Publicity & Promotions and will be responsible for providing administrative and campaign support to the National Publicity and Promotions team as well as covering key office duties and admin, supporting the entire business. These duties include responding to and directing public enquiries from the main phone line and email, booking couriers, collecting and distributing mail, stocking the kitchen and meeting rooms, and general office management and maintenance tasks as required.
This position requires an enthusiastic, passionate and reliable team-player with a flair for admin, excellent communication and organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail. A can-do attitude is a must!
Key Responsibilities:
Administration tasks for the Publicity & Promotions team as directed
General campaign support to the Publicity & Promotions team as directed
General Office Duties including stocking kitchen and meeting room fridges, kitchen maintenance, collecting and distributing mail, booking couriers, answering and directing public phone and email enquiries, etc. as required
Coordinate production and distribution of relevant promotional and marketing collateral, including release schedule, merchandise, digital assets and printed materials
Maintain the company websites with up-to-date relevant information and materials
Assist National Publicity & Promotions team on all premieres, junkets, events and screenings – will include working evenings/weekends when required
Coordinate invites and RSVP lists for screenings and assist at preview screenings and events
Database management – update and maintain media/contacts databases for the department and company
Key point of contact for publicity and promotional vendors – including media monitoring, online ticketing
Tracking and reporting on editorial coverage and asset launches as directed by campaign leads
Prepare, compile and distribute department reports as required
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Team player and can-do attitude essential
Typically a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar assistant/junior office role; and/or relevant degree/internship experience
Sound skills and experience in all Microsoft Office programs required
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Social Media, Influencer and Digital experience desirable
Skills in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator desirable
Collaborative spirit and ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously as required
Ability to handle pressure and work within a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem solve
An understanding and appreciation of film, media and the arts is desirable, but not essential
