Role: Relationship Assistant, Private Banking

Location: Dublin, 10 Molesworth Street Dublin 2 with Hybrid Working

This role is being offered on a permanent basis

About the Role:
Private Banking is an exciting and successful unit within the bank operating within Capital Markets. We provide specialist expertise and tailored solutions when it comes to Investments, Retirement Planning and Lending.

We provide High End Mortgages (1m+) and Commercial Real Estate facilities where the borrowing entity is personal to them. We also offers a world class Pension and Investment service. This is administered locally however client’s funds are invested with some of the top financial houses worldwide.

We have offices in Cork, Dublin & Galway with staff of 60 who engage with clients across the 26 Counties.

The Private Banking Team within Investment Banking are looking for candidates to play a key role supporting the Relationship Managers in delivering upon our business and customer objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Working as part of a team to deliver the Private Banking proposition to our customers.
Delivering excellence in customer care and outstanding service.
Building and strengthening client relationships by delivering for our clients.
Supporting Relationship Managers in the delivery of specific financial objectives (sustainable balance sheet & interest & non-interest income growth)
Preparing credit proposals across all lending products & credit management of existing exposures.

Credit: Preparation of credit documentation in conjunction with Relationship Managers for onward analysis by the lending team. Ensure all credit reviews are done in a timely fashion. All credit related operations to be maintained to the highest standards.
Wealth: To work with your Relationship Manager on the preparation of appropriate documentation for all wealth related meetings and to attend same.
Client Engagement: Respond to all client enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Education: Ensure all educational qualifications are maintained and up to date. Complete all internal Comet courses in advance of specified closing date.
Culture and Conduct: Champions a Customer First culture in support of our Purpose, strategic ambition and Brand Values, by ensuring processes and procedures consistently promote good outcomes for all our customers.

What you will bring:
Education: Must have relevant regulatory accreditation, e.g. APA/QFA (or grandfathered)
Minimum of 18 months banking experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Works well in a team environment
A strong sense of customer service
